Basements was a dowload patch it didn’t come with that game, I have them but I don’t have adventures yet.

I totally agree with you about all of this. It’s fun but not worth it and it doesn’t make me think of “TS3″.

@phreakindee Thats because there is nothing good on TV anymore- so people search for entertainment elsewhere by taking the lazyway out and not reading a book.

The game honestly is $30- but the “free” $10 isn’t really free, since it adds onto the total of $40.
EA should just take the instore stuff and pack it into the expansions.
And EA should stop rushing their game making process- because it just pisses off players by making them download all of the annoying patches.

@StRiPeS117 Yes you can build in the cities. If you do the “edit town” option in your neighborhood, there are three buttons in the top left corner for each city.

I bought World Adventures and I never had to delete anything. It took a bit to download and sometime loading but overall I love the game. Totally worth the $30 (I am extremely cheap and waiting until EA had it on sale.)

@ceboal yea i would recomend not to keep downloading everything for free off the internet…you could end up downloading a virus or trojan horse along w/ the game which could mess up your whole computer. in the long run that just means you will have to put out even more cash to fix or replace the computer….so all im saying is thirty bucks is not going to kill you

games these days are so damn expensive- and CEOs are getting away with it.
When I was a kid (90s) games used to be $20, then it rose to $30 (2000) then new games rose to $50(2004-ish), and now new games in 2010 are up to $60. Is it just me who finds this seriously wrong?

Good review. What they really need is a first person/third person game where you start as a kid and go through school and what you do in school effects the jobs you get later. There will still be a wide variety of jobs you can do instead and also jobs you can do if you don’t go to school. They need to add some sortof physics system like euphoria because what they have right now feels like stiff graphics stitched together. Call it, sim life. Focus on building, finding love and work.

world adventures doesnt sound that fun, i think sims 2 bon voyage was better, in my opinion

Load times also depend on your pc.
